In contrast to traditional open days – attended by young people who are already interested in the specific area – Achtung Technik Los! engages all students, including those that thought they did not have the technical knowledge or ability for these careers. Workshops grouped by gender also make it possible to give girls a specific introduction to the subject area. The action days are held at the schools themselves and are free of charge.
2022 was an important year for Achtung Technik Los! – after two difficult years of pandemic-related restrictions, we were at last able to hold all our planned action days once more. Between autumn 2022 and spring 2023, some 800 young people at the point of choosing their careers reaped the benefits of our interactive programme.
